    Rooftop dining with nice views of the Western temple group... Actually, it is located directly across the street from the temples... And just a minute's walk from the hotel I stayed at, Casa di William... But this town is so small, almost everything is within a short easy walk from everything else... Rooftop dining is extremely popular in Khajuraho, one of the only towns I can think of in the world where this custom is so ubiquitous...

    Favorite Dish: Excellent Indian cuisine.

    • Restaurant Name: Siddhartha Hotel Restaurant.

    The restaurant on the roof of the Siddhartha Hotel has excellent views of the Western temple group... Go just before dusk and you can enjoy an image such as the one here... The food is not as good as at Blue Sky Restaurant next door but the views are even better... Siddhartha Gautama was the original name of the Buddha...

    Paradise is an excellent breakfast spot, very close to the town center... The decor and furnishings inside are utterly unpretentious, like most Khajuraho restaurants, but it is very clean and the staff are also quite friendly and helpful... Prices are quite good too... Yes, in fact, this place is truly a "paradise"...!

    Favorite Dish: Mango pancakes, yummy and cheap.

    Rooftop dining, directly in the town center, a very good breakfast place... There is a small wooden structure which provides shade over some tables, with lots of plants decorating... Of course, the name refers to Fellini's classic film "La Dolce Vita"... This is one of many Italian theme restaurants in Khajuraho...
