Well, I will make a page about Monsaraz, in the district of Beja.
This is a very old small village of Portugal, but very interesting turist place.
It was taken from the Moorish in 1167 by the adventurer Geraldo Sem-Pavor (Geraldo Without-Fear). The village was then given to the Templários, an religious/militar organization, but since it was near the frontier with Spain, it was a continuous target of spanish attacks. In 1381 there was another inexpected attack. Since the promisse marriage of a D. Fernando'daughter to the Count of Cambridge, was broken, the Count discharge his fury sending his the army on Monsaraz.
