"Atlantis -- Pricey but fun" a Paradise Island Travel Page by janiac

We went from June 19th through June 22nd (three nights, four days). I almost didn't go after reading all the bad reviews of Atlantis, but I'm glad I took my kids after all. I have two teens and they are hard to take on vacations nowadays. Atlantis was one place both my son and daughter wanted to go to, so I decided to bite the bullet and hope the reviews of this place were wrong. And as far as I'm concerned, I think most were either off the mark or have been corrected or may apply to high season. The help was almost always friendly and maybe because it's the off season, I always saw plenty of chairs open. Lines were either almost non-existent or reasonable for the water slides. The grounds were clean (there was some debris here and there but if you see the thousands of people that tromp through the place, it can only be expected there would be some things left by the masses). Oh, yes, we were also lucky to have fantastic weather, 80's and with only one or two spritzes of light rain during the whole trip.
