World Trade Center A spetacular exception to the lull in new construction that followed New York's descent into near-bankruptcy during the early 1970s was the completion of World Trade Center in 1973 . The building rosen as two unadorned stainless towers to a height of 1,350 feet. On a clear day, the 107th-floor observation level provided views reaching 60 miles. But who one day took pictures, visited the World Trade Center building knows the magnificent structure of the men's work- the stainless twin towers. In September 11, 2001 we assisted the magnificence of men's work goes to "ground zero." Taking with it thousands of innocents souls in a early morning of the day. I took this picture when visiting NYC in September of 1999. |
