Rome is a majestic example of how great a city can be. Unfortunately for me, I went in August...I was tired, sore, hot, and extremely bothered. Needless to say, I didn't get to absorb the Eternal City as much as I should have, and much of my time there is one big blur!! As I sit to make this page, there is much I cannot recall--"I think I went here...what's the name of that place again?!...did I go there or not??...dear me!". Consequently, this page will not be as informative as I would like. However, despite it all, I did enjoy seeing such wonderful things, and cannot wait to return.
A note about the pictures...I don't have a lot as my parents controlled the camera on this one. I apologise for poor quality, weird angles, and scanned guide book images! |

| Pros: | "Stunning, majestic, huge, unbelieveable, larger-than-life, you won't belive your eyes amazing!" | | Cons: | "Crowds are also all of the above, but in the more pegorative sense...it also gets REALLY hot in the summer..." | | In A Nutshell: | "What can I say, all roads really do lead to Rome??" |
