Robben Island was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. Wandering the halls of the prison and seeing Nelson Mandela's tiny cell that he called home for over 18 years....it was like a dream to me. The book enriched my experience and visting the Island make it all real, but in a dreamlike way....I will probably never go back, but I will remember it for always... |
