One of the most famous villas of Riviera of Brenta, now also National Museum. It goes back to 1700 and was erected by Pisani family, later on it was sold to Napoleone I. One of the most outstanding artists who decorated it was Tiepolo. The gardens are also worth a visit and if you go there, enjoy the maze also for me... when there, it had been too rainy and it was closed to the public... :-(((

In piazza San Marco you cannot miss the Basilica, the entrance is free but you have to pay if you want to see the treasure or go up to the gallery, both at a few bucks.

From up there the view is surely better but I missed it so I did with the view from the Gallery of San Marco Basilica...

It's surely worth a visit and the 18.000 liras ticket entitles you to other 6 museums: Correr Museum, Archaeological Museum, Marciana Library, Mocenigo Palace, Glass Museum, Lace Museum.
