The small romantic village of Bozhentsi is huddled up in the north slopes of the Central Balkan Range. It is situated 16 km east from Gabrovo, 14 km from Dryanovo and 40 km far from the old Bulgarian capital Veliko Tarnovo.

Bozhentsi is declared an Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve with more than 600 years of history. What you will find out there is pretty two-storey houses with stone roofs and wooden verandahs build in the typical style of the Bulgarian Revival period.

Not only is this place unique because of its houses but also for the narrow cobblestone streets, colorful carpets, beautiful nature, kind and hospitable people who will make your stay unforgettable and will bring you back to the time of passed centuries.

Walking around you become so attracted by the village’s atmosphere, breathing the fresh mountain air, feel the romance, peace and tranquility that you promise yourself to get back again.
