It depends on where you're from. But you can come to The Netherlands by airplane, bus, boat's (ferrys), Thalys, train and with your own car.

The Dutch travel around by car, bike, scooter, brommer, on foot, tram, train, metro, taxi and by bus.
It was a Dutch man who develped the bike, and we are the number 1 country in Europe with the most bicycles owned and used in traffic. We are also the number 1 country where you have the most chance that your bicycle gets stolen!
The tram, bus, train and metro are public transportations and if you want to use them you have to pay for it. The taxi is the same as in every other country. In the bigger city's you can put your hand up, but in the smaller city's you have to call for a taxi.
