I had the opportunity to travel to Madison recently when my girlfriend wanted to attend a broadcast of NPR's <a href="http://www.notmuch.com/">Whaddya Know?</a> radio show featuring Michael Feldman and also seize upon the chance of getting to see a Univ. of Wisconsin football game up close and personal. She's got quite a nose for travel and did a great job organizing this one! The weather was overcast and raining occasionally on Saturday (we drove through a heck of a downpour to get there!), but the football pictures I managed to sneak in between showers came out a lot better than anything I took of the surroundings haha In fact, the only shot I got of the campus was of the engineering building and you can see how <i>that</i> turned out. :-)

It's too bad we didn't have more time there - Madison is an extraordinarily eclectic town with the school, the state capitol, the homes, and two glacial lakes to enjoy.
