Bear with me... I'm just now getting back to building pages so this one may take a little while... I'm trying like heck to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather we're having to get out and take in as much of Indy as I can so stay tuned - I still have a list about a full page long of destinations in the metro area I want to photograph and share :-)

I've lived in Indy for a few years now and I have to say, there's not many other places I'd rather be. It's land-locked and only known for basketball, corn, and the Indy 500, but like so many other places with limited perceptions, there are hidden jewels everywhere. Maybe it's that one thread in common with my old hometown that makes Indy appeal to me so much.

Indy is just large enough to offer big city conveniences, but is small enough and still conservative enough to be a great place to live. If the night life here isn't enough for you, check out the drive times:

Chicago 3 hours
Louisville 2 hours
Cincinatti 2 hours
Dayton, OH 2 hours
Detroit ~4 hours
St. Louis 4 hours
Nashville 5 hours

Get the idea? They always call Indy the crossroads (or the hub) of the Midwest and after moving here I figured out why!

But as Bender on "Futurama" would say, "Enough of your mindless chit chat. Let's get going!"

I've had to snag some pictures from web sites to save time (and film), but the majority of them are mine.

Oops... I just remembered I need to buy some lens filters for the camera..... (and more lessons, apparently!)
