Every 1st or 2nd week in October about 4,000 Goldwing motorcylcles descend on the Mississippi Gulfcoast. Long Beach is just one of the many Gulf Coast cities used by these bikers when they are here. Threre are parades, vendors selling Goldwing merchandise and equipment, artists painting scenery on the bikes, and just general good fun. This group of people are vastly different from the Harley Bike Rally we have in July when thousands of Harleys descend on the Coast. Goldwingers are older, usually married, never naked in public, wear conservative (albeit colorful) clothing and are more conservative in general than the Harley dudes.

Come on in, sit back and relax, and I will show you a sample of these 4,000 bikes. Some of these bikes have airconditioned side cars, TV, and cost upwards to $50,000. Difficult to believe? Well, have a look.
