Visiting Xian was one of my high points of my journey through China. I found that because of it's historical importance, Xian had a great many attractions that were worth seeing. Of course the most important are the famed Terracotta Warriors located just east of the city, however there much more to see. Xian has one of the best museums in China, there are several great architectural monuments and the massive and well restored city walls. Unlike most Chinese cities that I visited, I found myself pressed for time here in my effort to hit all of these fine attractions. If you visit Xian give it a lot of time if you want to see all of its worthy sites. |
