Spain is a wonderful country to leisurely tour. Since it is not very expensive, it can be visited on a reasonable budget. Furthermore Spain has so much to see. There are more World Heritage List sights in Spain than in any other country in the world. On top of the multitude of historical and cultural sights, Spain offers great beaches and wonderful hiking. One of the things I like most about Spain is the people. They are without a doubt the nicest and most beautiful people of any country that I have so far visited. They only add to the enjoyment that you will have in this wonderful country. |

deecat Tue Sep 11, 2007 21:51 UTC Update:Fascinating insights about Spain. Although I disagreed about a few places such as the Nerja caves, I tended to find your comments right on target. As always, you well written, informative, interesting tips are a big help to travelers. | NatInTO Tue Aug 1, 2006 01:47 UTC Thanks for the compliments about my country. I come from a small fishing area in Northern Spain, in the Galicia region. Beautiful rolling hills, unspoiled beaches (And now that I'm far away from home, I can agree... the food is not really exciting!) :) | hojasdehierba Tue Nov 22, 2005 01:21 UTC Good tips on Spain! I have seen that you visited Caceres, did you visit Merida? Very interesting! | 807Wheaton Thu Oct 13, 2005 21:52 UTC I'm really enjoying your pages today. Brings back lots of good memories and even makes me think about a return trip! |
