Germany is the only country in Europe that I have visited twice. While the reason behind that has alot to do with were Germany sits on the map of Europe, I should also state clearly that the country fascinates me.
Germany is has perhaps the most interesting, and at times most tragic, history of any country in Europe. This means that in a historical context there is a great deal to see in Germany. For instances it has spectacular castles. However for me Germany is not just castles and history. I doubt that another country in the world can rival Germany for have so many first rate art galleries. For those who appreciates the visual arts Germany is a must. Still Germany also offers more that just great art galleries. Some of the finest scientific and technological museums in the world are in Germany. Not only that but Germany in hardly be topped for having the best nightlife in all of Europe. This is a beer lovers dream country. I hope to visit Germany again because I can think of no other country that offers so much to fill a travelers day as in this fascinating country.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great food, museums, castles. You name it. It's good.
Cons:Unfortunately the people can be unfriendly and even cold.
In a nutshell:The country that offers more to fill a travelers day unlike any other.

Excellents tips, especially the off- the- beaten- path ones! I fully agree with you, the Lindau museum is a tourist trap.

LOL!!! Yes, but they have nice bathrooms & the best post cards you could ever want to try and see if you could get delivered in the States!
