Vienna is the most immediately likable city that I have so far visited. Unlike much larger cities like Paris, Rome and London, Vienna seems quaint. It really retains it's historical past effortless. Vienna also has so more going for it. Few cities can rival it for superb palaces. The art and cultural life is unsurpassed in Europe. And it seems to be less hurried than the other cultural capitals of Europe. Vienna also makes a great base for daytrips throughtout Eastern Austria including cruises up and down the Danube River. There is more than enough to see and do in Vienna and nearby to occupy a full week. |

Very nice and extensive site about Vienna. One of the last cities we ant to visit in order to search for Sissi! We visited Madeira, Corfu and Venice already. Can't wait. Thanx for sharing! |
