    • Favorite Thing: The place d'Armes is the central square of Luxembourg City. It is fill to the point of saturation with cafes and restaurants.

    Fondest Memory: As many of the restaurants here are quite good and I highly recommend that you come here more than once. Overall I think that the place d'Armes is possibly one of the best places in all of Europe to people watch.

     I didn't know that Vauban also built the fortifications in Luxembourg. In Germany he built some very elaborate ones in Freiburg in Breisgau, where there is now a very interesting new neighborhood named after him.    		traveldave Wed Jul 12, 2006 16:36 UTC
     Luxembourg looks like a nice little country to visit. I'm particularly interested in WWII, so the military museum would definitely be a must-see for me.
