Luxembourg maybe tiny but there is plenty to see and keep you occupied for a few days. As you can see by this picture there are castles and a whole lot of them. In addition Luxembourg City is one of the most beautiful capitals in all Europe. So if time allows it, hop off the train as you pass you through this fine country. I think that you will find it a truly worthwhile experience. |

Nemorino Wed Oct 24, 2007 22:37 UTC I didn't know that Vauban also built the fortifications in Luxembourg. In Germany he built some very elaborate ones in Freiburg in Breisgau, where there is now a very interesting new neighborhood named after him. | traveldave Wed Jul 12, 2006 17:36 UTC Luxembourg looks like a nice little country to visit. I'm particularly interested in WWII, so the military museum would definitely be a must-see for me. | deecat Wed Jul 12, 2006 03:07 UTC Castles, museums, people watching, good restaurants...what more does one need? A great description of Luxembourg with helpful, informative tips. | mustertal Tue Jul 19, 2005 21:03 UTC I agree the Military museum,is a good place to visit, I liked it. |
