    • Let's get one thing clear about Ephesus. You will not be alone. This is not the place to visit if you have a problem with crowds. I had hoped to avoid the mass of bus tourgroups that visit Ephesus from Kusadasi by arriving at the gates at 9am sharp. No such luck. The hordes of tourists had already arrived. What this means is that if you want to take any shots of important monuments free of crowds then you have to be very patient. Fortunately I am but I did have to take this shot of a bus group just to show you what I mean.

     Usually I'm not very interested in ruins, but these sure look interesting. Probably because they're so well preserved compared to others.
