Leave those stinking poluting cars in your garage!
Take the train or any public transportation and rent a bicycle!
If you are with a group, then I would advice you to contact the tourist information office whereas they could give you good advice about guided bicycles tours in the area.
I made a terrific tour last Sunday (25th of May 2003).

We rented the bicycles and kidnapped an outstanding comedian entertaining guide at "quasimundo" (guided bicycle tours of Brugge and the Flemish countryside).
They offer different kind of tours at different kind of prices.
I can assure you it is just great fun to be able to do this with a group of friends (or family)!
