"Doel the vanishing village" Doel by irisbe

Doel Travel Guide: 4 reviews and 8 photos

At the left bank of the river Scheld lies the little village Doel.
It is wellknown for its nuclear power plant and lately it gained "fame" because of the threat to be supprimised in favor of more stock and storage space for the growing harbour of Antwerp.
How long this village will remain on the map... no one knows for sure!
