Peaceful little village!
Only during Summerdays this place is turned into a real tourist attraction.
But if you go outside the season, it is just marvelous!

Herbuemont here I come ! but under construction - Herbeumont

On the square of the little village you will find an information map that pictures all the great hiking paths in the area. Still I would recomend you to get yourself a detailed card.
The woods are "big" accordingly to Belgian standards.
Herbeumont is bordering the river Semois, a river loved by canoers.

There is a hot shower available at this time. Closed hoever in winter to keep the pipes from freezing, but apart from that madame Lucille has jetons for the shower in her kitchen (or the pub).

Great pictures in travelogues. I like especially foggy pictures in the first one and trees covered by bright green moss in the third one.

We didn't stop in that place, but it seems to be a great region for hiking. And we canoed on La Semis! Wow, great!
