Original, how small Mortsel might be, we had 4 trainstations, 3 of them still operational: Mortsel Oude God; Mortsel Deurnestraat; Mortsel.
This pictures is taken direction Berchem (Antwerp) from the bridge at the station Mortsel Deurnestraat.
You can see the Thalys driving this direction.
Only stop trains have a halt at any of the stations in Mortsel. You can travel to Brussels and Leuven with such trains, or you can take a train to Berchem and hop on a direct or semi direct train to all cities connected.
A trip from Mortsel to Berchem only takes a few minutes, from Mortsel or Mortsel Oude-God to Antwerp will take between 9 or 13 minutes (if you have to switch trains at Berchem due to works in Central Station)
