Getting TO/AROUND: Being a frequent bicyclist I recognized the problem the hills would give me if I only have to rely on my "leg-power". As long as you stay in the flat area all is ok and I saw lots of people cycling. But if you live here and you need to make longer trips and get from A to B at the most quickest way possible and still economical, ... then there is only one other option left: "the motorcycle" or "the scooters".
It was nice to see how a special parking space is reserved for this two wheeled engines!
I think you have to be courageous however to manouver through the busy and packed streets !
I also noticed that the streets are one way streets, which made it quite easy to cross them as pedestrian.

Getting TO/AROUND: I noticed there were a lot of taxi cabs driving around. Although public transportation is excellent, a taxi might be more safe.
Just a small addition to this picture is that I was charmed to see that also in Catalunya people expressed their wish for peace.
