"Sailing in the Netherlands" Bruinisse by Luchonda

Bruinisse Travel Guide: 12 reviews and 95 photos

Instructed by Dave and all pics by me, lazy sailor

An ex-professional Belgian World sailor, famous by the transcontinental
"Whitbread sailing race" sponsered by Rucanor that time (1989/1990) introduced eight NP into a day " Enjoy sailing, slow or fast "

Enjoy sailing on the lake of Grevelingen/Bruinisse

The Grevelingen lake is the largest saltwater lake of Western Europe. On the west side it is bounded by the Brouwersdam and on the east side by the Grevelingendam. The lake is situated on the boundary between Zuid-Holland and Zeeland, between the islands Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland. (Text from the net - pictures by me)

All hands on deck

Dave warned us before leaving the harbour :
There is no democracy on board of a sailing boat. I'm the captain and ruler, the crew are my servants - safety first.
After sailing you can throw me overboard, ...but we didn't - he is just great.

This looks like a fantastic way to spend a day with a bunch of mates! That's a great looking kit of provisions too!
