Those markets we visited during our cycling trip in Habana and Camague - estonished about the way Cuban people has to survive.
There is a so called "Bodega" - where the locals can buy the basics with the gouvernment tickets.Mainly rice and milk for the children.
Than the gouvernment market - empty racks and than the US dollar market - a lot of choice - but payable in US dollars - so a lot of Cubans can not afford the basics like we know it

What To Buy: Fruit - vegtables and meat !!

What To Pay: Us dollars - above average for the Cubans - so every dollar from the tourist is welcome !!

The local US dollar and in the meantime also Euro payable markets

What To Buy: Chicken and porc meat - others are difficult to find and completely controlled (as far as possible) by the gouvernment. Can you imagine that the local farmers cow's history is controlled by the gouvernment.

    Previous golden shopping center -
but actually a ruin of forgotten glory. A few shops selling clothing and books. The shops and building get to be renovated.
This area is even dangerous for tourists !
But local police is near - like everywhere in Habana !!

What To Buy: Nothing !!!!!!!! Go to calle Obispo - near bye!
