Reims - northern France - situated an hour from Paris, at crossroads with the European motorways A4-E50 (Paris - Strasbourg), A34 (Ardennes – Belgium) and A26 – E17 (Calais – Dijon - Lyon)
Travelling to this city is enjoying the vineyards - the monuments and tasting the golden pearls of Champagne.
Three different types of landscapes - perfect for cultivating the famous champagne :
First : le "Pinot Noir", "raisin noir au jus incolore", has the reputation to give "body" to the champagne !
Second : le "Meunier" cultivated for it's fruity taste and finally the cultivation of the famous "Chardonnay" the white grape giving flavour to the champagne.

Good photos and an enjoyable page, Luc. I don't know whether the fountain is fizzing champagne or water, but there is an almost identical fountain in Sydney! (Sadly, it splashes water) :))

The cathedral of Reims looks so beautiful! Hahaha, and ordering a Leffe here does need some 'lef', but drinking a Leffe on a sunny afternoon sounds perfect and I actually would prefer it over the champagne :-)))
