"Jaipur - the pink city - and Capital of Radjasthan" Jaipur by Luchonda
Jaipur Travel Guide: 1,034 reviews and 3,073 photos
Jaipur - about 300km located at the west of Dehli is famous and known by this building - erected in typical local pink sandstones !
The palace counts 5 stairs - is builded in that way that the wind is ventilating the building naturaly.
It was the palace of the marahadjahs women - giving them the occasion to look at the local people - but behind windows !
A detail of the facade - all small rooms with an overview on the market place !

Superb photos again, Luc!
Prachtfoto's, Luc !!! The Amberfort, the Palace of the Winds, the bathing tradition, all look so enchanting on your pictures !
I've seen many pix of Palace of the Winds but almost never the interior. What's it like? Are we allow to go inside?
Thanks for showing me a bit of what I missed in Rahjastan. Wat heb je op je homepage een prachtig 'unfinished' chinees schilderij!
Prachtig Luc! Yes the water and all that is involved with it, is one of the cultural/religious importances that all Indians share. Great photography ! (as ever)
that pink sandstone is spectacular not to mention your pic of it!!!
