I bought this painting in China, somewhere in the streets of Shanghai, or was it Hangzou, i do not remember, i'm getting old and maybe wise.
The maker of it was still busy to finish it, but i said : stop, and paid him a few dollars. He learned me to share wisdom with the younger generation in this small but beautiful world, so that they will get wiser too.
In this sence i would like to quote Albert Einstein :
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity."

Whatever happens - this is my sunshine at home - my daughter Kim !
She left home on october the first to live together with her friend - she is 23 ! she is right. But we had to crack some emotional nuts !

I just received her phonecall to tell me :
Dad, your FIRST grandchild will be born in March 2005
Isn't this greeeat !
And guess what, today 03/01/07 i received another call telling me : Dad, your SECOND ...,called Senne and born on sept 2nd. And the baby boom continues in the family. The third one will be born in march 2009

March 12th. Only one week to go and my grandchild will be born.
Laying my hands on the "safety box" of my daughter, and listening if i can catch any noice or signal telling : I'm ready grandpa
"Im ready too GC !"
Believe me - i'm walking on pins and needles waiting for the ultimate moment.
A warm welcome to the next generation.

Let us built now clean foundations so that the next generation doesn't have to ask : "WHY"
What they need from us is the "experience" - what we need from them is their "innovating ideas"

This picture i took in "The House of Peace" in Gent - A drawing made by the children of the school. It gave me some hope that at least the next generation will be wiser.
