Korea was fab!
I took my sister there for the weekend for a birthday surprise and we had a great time.
Because of the shortness of our stay we spent a lot of time wandering and just getting a feel for the city. We liked it all except the food so don't expect any gourmet advice on my page except maybe "there are many Japanese restaurants and bakeries! use them!"
The Highlight was wandering through the Chandukkung Palace where this picture was taken I guess because we mostly saw modern Seoul and this was a step off the streets into old culture. The only disappointment was the Dongdaemon markets. Unless you are into pigs heads and camo gear have a look but don't expect to find anything buyable! In saying that our best buy was Korean Nori which went down a treat with friends and got me addicted and this was bought at this market.
