    • Every morning I had coffee or cappuccino at the bar at Piazzale Roma. The bar – restaurant is situated on the corner of the square, just across bus and vaporetto ticket offices. I do not remember the name, but coffee was always great, croissants – hot, service – good. They have not a bad kitchen also, and quite inexpensive.

    • The other bar - restaurant that I liked very much is called DA SANDRO. It is nice place, not far from Rialto Bridge.
    They make very good pizza, but in the evening they were out of tiramissu, my favorite italian dessert. Still, the waiter was very nice, and besides meals proposed me his address. I had lots of fun, and a very good dinner. By the way, in Italian restaurants I strongly recommend you to try vino della casa – home made wine. Both red and white wines are very good. I paid for the dinner less than 15 USD, including vine, coffee, dessert, and service.

    • Another place to eat in the evening is Campo di Santa Margarita. Restaurants and bars open till late at night because many young people come here to have beer, to talk, etc. It was the only place where we could find something to eat at midnight in Venice. There are many restaurants and snack bars, and you can choose whatever you want. Situated not far from Piazzale Roma.
