I have lived in London most of my life so I think I know it rather well, my family have been in London for over 400 years, so you could say the blood of London runs in my veins, it sure feels like it. I have been to all the tourist attractions, to all the Theatres, been to all the Markets, seen most of the Churches, troddon so many miles of London streets (had blistered feet). And I still LOVE LONDON!!! The London pic above was taken in Trafalgar Square. And there were Pigeons thousands of them. A man there (in the right hand corner) sells bird food so you can get their attention This site will show you all the things you can do in London for free: http://www.londonfreelist.com/ho me.asp
The bulk of my London page disappeared into VT's backup server and as it would not be available until about July when the new format will re-installed the page all 140 tips of it. So until then aplogies for not having the page up and running, but hope you enjoy the travelogs :-).
If you want to see more pics and information about Trafalgar Square Parks and Gardens Statues Pubs St Pauls Cathedral Tower of London Legal London Theatres Markets please see travelogue
First thing to do is arm yourself with a good map, an underground map, an umbrella, a good pair of walking shoes, a camera, and a copy of TIME OUT (any newsagent will have a copy). Then go and explore my wonderful city. And make sure you dont keep to the main routes as London has so much to offer in the little alley's and roads just of those well trodden tourist routes. |
