UNDER CONSTRUCTION I am stealing the Galway location as there isnt one for County Clair and Galway is the nearest point on the map as far as VT is concerned for the moment. Castles, ruined churches, deserted cottages, spectacular cliffs and crashing waves are all a feature of this part of County Clair. I can only say that the scenary is stunning!! Greebo, Dark Lord and I went off to Ballyvaughan for a weeks break, and in doing so we witnessed some of the most rugged coastlines in Ireland and some of the freindlest people anywhere. Beware a Farmer will say good moring and then spend the rest of the day chatting away. A good instance is Madelaine in Quinns gifshop in the village, this women is lovely and will spend the day chatting with you about everything including her 9 children. Lovely to see true family values alive and well in the world. Charming people, good food, great surrounding, what else could anyone want out of life :-). |
