Tunisia was a really new adventure for me. I went out to Sousse to join some French freinds who were in Military service for 2 weeks, and I had a real culture shock, I had never seen Camels before or been to a Medina Shopping, or even drunk Mint tea. But I learnt a lot about the people the culture and the History.

Sousse has had other names over the centuries:
Hadrumete (Punic), Colonia Ulpia Trajana Augusta Frugifera Hadrumetina (Roman), Harinicopolis (Vandal), Justiniano (Byzantine), Soussa (Arabic).But is now reffered to as "The pearl of the Sahel"

Sousse is a little under 100 miles from Tunis the main City in Tunisia, it has wonderful Sandy beaches and a Medina that will have you spending all that hard earned money.
