Like being in a National Geographic movie

We visited Longsheng as an overnight trip from Yanghsuo before returning to Guilin, so I have written my account on my Yangshuo page.
I just realized there is a page for Longsheng so I will add a few words here.
Longsheng , and the rice terraces of Ping'an village were breathtakingly beautiful.Make sure your batteries are charged and you have enough on your memory card, because you will want to take picture after picture of the view.
When we arrived in the village ,the clouds were obscuring the view. But don't despair, they roll in and out all the time and the view is constantly changing.

At the bottom of the hill

as you approach the village you will be mobbed by the Yao ladies who want you to buy their embroidery,or take a picture of them with their long hair down (for money).Apparently they also have a folklore show in the village at night, but we didn't see it.

The viewing points

There are three viewing points at Ping'an.YOu climb slowly up the mountain and stop at each point.
