Depends on where you go...

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather in Spain in summer depends mainly on where you go to:
- South, center, east and the islands: HOT (30-40ºC)
- North coast and north west: Cool and cloudy sometimes (20-30ºC).
But take this as a rule, as some summers I have seen 31 sunny days in august in the north coast, but this is not the normal thing.

The heat is on!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Spain in summer can be very hot. It depends on the areas, of course. The pic U see was taken in Madrid in late July, showing a temperature of 44 centigrade degrees!!!
If youi go to the south (Andalucia) or to the Mediterranean coast you will find similar temperatures.
But if you go up to the north coast, temperatures can go down like 10-15 degrees less than in the rest, and can even be chilly in the evenings, including rainy days too...
