Some of the best things in life come by chance

That summer we were not supposed to visit Rhodes. We were making a summer tour along the aegean coast of Turkey; rented a car from Istanbul and went down the coast to Marmaris.

All the way down to Rhodes

And once in Marmaris, we said: "why not take a short trip to Rhodes, so close?" So we did a 1 day trip, and the island seemed so marvellous that we gave back the car in Marmaris, rented an appartment in Rhodes and stayed there for a week!!

After Rhodes we returned to Turkey and to Istanbul, after visiting Pamukkale...

Pros and Cons

Pros:It has a bit of everything
Cons:A bit too far from Athens
