A hidden church

I have always liked this tiny hidden church you can find near Syntagma square. They have built a whole building on top, but this little church still resists, in the middle of the asphalt jungle!!

The central Post Office

Near a corner of Syntagma Square is the main Post Office which closes at 2 PM. Make sure you put your mail in the correct exterior bin or it may never arrive... it may never arrive anyway! You can phone abroad from here too.

Central Covered Market

Undoubtely the heart of the city. In Street Athinas, between Monastiraki and Omonia Square. This market deserves a visit to see its ambience and great variety
of sea food and meat. Around the Market there is a great amount of local restaurants, cheap and delicious.
