Delphi is one of my favourite places in Greece.
I've been there several times, and whenever I return to Greece I try to go there.
Kind of magical, mystical, special...
Though is very touristic and too crowded in summer, if you sleep there and wake up early, when the buses from Athens have not arrived with the daily groups, you can feel the quietness of this impressive mountains. Then you can understand why did greeks come here to talk with their Gods!!

Where is it?

Delphos is located about 50 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast of Greece, at the Parnassus mountains. It's a 2 1/2 hours drive from Athens.

I had snow in Delphi on my 1984 trip here! Great page! I learned some facts that I had forgotten! Only me and 1 other tourist when I was there!
