I use to have my coffees very sweet. Here in madrid they always put U 1 sugar with the coffee. So in BCN I was very pleased to find that coffee comes usually with 2 pieces of sugar, so I didin't have to ask for another :-))) Besides, the milk is always creamy and foamy here, "capuccino" style...

When you enter in the Cathedral you will find at your left a lot of red candles with a few texts in each group of them. They are offered to certain saints asking for some favours and prays. People buy the candle in a nearby counter, and light the candle to the saint they choose. They make a very aesthetic image in those dark gothic churches...

Being a graphic designer myself I pay atention to this kind of things. BCN is really a trandy city in this aspec, you will find many exhibitions, studies, agencies, and the best spanish graphic design come from this city, I must admit. You will notice that in the exhibitions posters, leaflets... and in many cool shops.
