One thing I envy of Barcelona (comparing it with Madrid) is that it is a really beautiful and personal city. Everywhere you look at you find nice buildings around. Madrid has amazing highlights and monuments but somehow I find the city a bit more unpersonal.
Besides, BCN has the sea, and that's something Madrid will never have!!
The city has changed a lot after the 1992 Olympic Games, and it is said it's gonna get even better after the 2004's Forum event... |

So don't expect to find here the ultimate guide of the city, just a personal view of it, what I saw, what I liked (U won't see here what I disliked, LOL) |
Here you are! Seems to be in the middle of the world, doesn't it? I found this funny sign in the airport. It was the typical "You are here" map, but depicting all the world, I found it interesting :-)
