Baklavas and diets

If you are on a diet, don't ever visit Greek Pastry shops!!! After you enter you get trapped by those trays of delicious honey and almonds pastries like baklavas and many more.
Last time I was in Greece I used to pay a daily visit to the Pastries and had my desserts in the streets, enjoying those honey delights... delights that are not particulary LIGHT! LOL

P.S. U'll have to wash your sticky fingers afterwards!

Ouzo power

Ouzo is a typical Greek Liquor, similar to anisette, though not so sweet. Is a great drink for apetizers, along with some olives or tzatziki. You can have it alone, with cold water or with ice.
But beware of "ouzo power"!!! Is a really strong drink, though you might think is a light apetizer when drinking it cold. After 2-3 glasses you'll start seeing life from a different perspective, LOL

Disembarking from the ferries

In most of the islands ferries you have to disembark from the back part of the boat. Pay attention to the floor when going down, as there might be ropes and parcels on the floor. Not that is really very dangerous, but you can slip and something might fall into the water...
