Nice, isn't it? - Hoi An

Nice, isn't it?

Floating Restaurant (Han Huyen)

This lovely restaurant is just in the middle of the river, U can't get lost! They serve breakfast, though I found it very nice for dinners. Just be careful when is windy, it might move too much and you can get seasick for dessert!
Near the An Hoy footbridge.

This is it! - Hoi An

This is it!

Yellow River Restaurant

This small traditional restaurant is located in the Tran Phu street, near the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, not far from the Market. It isn't listed in the Lonely Planet, so it doesn't get crowded... The inside is decorated in old chinese style and it's got a couple of tables in a little terrace overlooking the street. Inside they have fans.
I tried here the Cao Lau and the "White Rose" (steamed shrimps wrapped in rice paper), 2 local specialities.

A Cao Lau sign - Hoi An

A Cao Lau sign

Cao Lau

Hoi An has several traditional original dishes. CAO LAU is probably the most famous. You will find this deli everywhere in Hoi An, but nowhere else (in the world I'd say).
It is flat noodles with croutons, bean sprouts and greens topped with pork slices. All this comes with crispy rice paper.

The riverside - Hoi An

Restaurants by the river front

On the opposite side of the Thu Bon River you can find many local restaurants with nice terraces looking to the old town. Sunset is a perfect moment to sit there, and enjoy a drink or a delicious meal.
To get there you will have to cross one of the 2 bridges from the old city.
