This is a local chinese restaurant, one of those that don't have menu, they just show you the food they are cooking and you choose.
Don't worry about the prices. Whatever U have it will be really cheap. I had 2 full dishes and a big beer for less than 2 USD.
U will be surrounded by locals, as it is not a "Lonely Planet" restaurant...

Tan Nam restaurant Tan Nam Review

This recently open vietnamese restaurant is nicely decorarated in a modern asiatic style.
They have some fixed menus announced at the main entrance for 6 USD, and photos of the dishes, so you can have a closer idea of what you will eat.

All I tasted was delicious, though I forgot to write down the names :-))

SPAIN restaurant

Just couldn't believe when I saw it, but there it was!! A spanish restaurant in Saigon!! At the neon sign, the bull, the guitar, no doubt!

I wish I could have gone inside, but it was closed at the time I passed by and I was leaving that evening, so I missed the opportunity to taste a piece of my country in Vietnam.

I leave U the tip for you to try, and please mail me back and tell me how was the experience ;-)))

Cool Restaurant

I found this place while looking for a nice clean place to eat near the Continental Hotel. I saw it from the street and it seemed OK, so I tried.
It is recently decorated in a modern asiatic style, stone walls, plants, little waterfalls... and A/C!!
They have a daily menu, though they show U only the "A la carte" menu first. But if U ask, they will show U the tourist menu. It was about 6 USD, 3 dishes and tea, drinks not included. Expensice for Saigon, but nice, they have many traditional viet dishes, all so tasty!!
