This over-touristed red district is nowadays a depressing trap for tourists who go there just for sex. If you enter one of the many bars there, you'll find no more than sad dancers (most childs coming from rural areas) and rather disgusting customers. Don't become a part of it!

Not really a Tourist Trap, but you better be warned. When U tell a taxi to go by the highways (to avoid traffic jams and get there sooner) you must pay the highway toll (about 40 Bahts, 1 USD) when it comes, not the taxi driver. So you must add that amount to the total coast of the ride, remember that!

As I was wandering around the huge enclosure of the Royal Palace complex, a guy came to me and told me the Palace was closed, but he could get me in by a rear door and accompany me during the visit for a certain tip. I wasn't really interested in guided tours, so I said no. After a while I found the Main gate and it wasn't closed at all!!! So if someone tells U something similar, just don't pay attention, BTW the main gate is at Th Ratchadamnoen, the one U C in the pic...
