Guilin was the last stop on our China trip. It was an add-on offered by General Tours. Our main reason in going to Guilin was to take the Li River Cruise. However, Guilin offered much more than that. The city itself was a delight. Our hotel, The Bravo, was across a street from Banyan Lake. This lake had recently been totally redone with wonderful walkways, plantings, bridges, small shelter pagodas which went all the way around the large lake.
We also were taken to Jiuwu village which was an amazing look at an old farming village. Even though it was raining heavily, it did not dampen this unique experience.
