We spent 3 nights and 3 full days in Koror at the Palau Pacific Resort. The snorkling was the best we have ever seen, and the Rock Islands are amazing! Palau consists of 343 islands along a 125 mile chain. Only 9 of the islands are inhabited. The airport is on the “big island” of Babeldaob. It is very rustic with mainly natives on it. The main island of Koror is where many of the hotels, schools, stores, banks, etc are. The island of Arakabesan is where the Palau Pacific Resort is located. These islands are connected by bridges, so we can drive from one main island to the other. |
