Orestiada is a new town. It was built in 1923 by Greek refugees from the region of Adrianoupolis (Edirne, Turkey). It has wide streets and spacy squares. Its population is today about 12,000 people, kind, friendly and cheerful.

Nice pic of Orestiada; Did you also go to Kastanies a small village at the Turkish boarder? I like it very much
