The monument of the Battle of Mabitac.

The town contributed to the war effort against the Americans in 1900. On September 17, 1900, Filipinos under General Juan Cailles defeated an American force commanded by Colonel Benjamin F. Cheatham. The Battle initially was recorded as Battle of Hinukay but later was known as Battle of Mabitac.
The monument is on the main road crossing the town, on the way to Siniloan.
