Marko is a good taxi driver I got to meet in Belgrade, he speaks an excellent english and italian.
He also likes to talk about history of his countries and its cultural tips and show you details not advised by guide books, I really had a good time with him, not to mention his theory of Tito's body being buried inside vatican, that story itself is worth a taxi ride.

Gea Tour

From Belgrade to Timisoara I used gea tours service. This is a private transport company which takes you from Belgrade to Podgorica, Sarajevo or Timisoara. The service is pretty good as they do a door to door service so you do not need to take other transports once you arrive at destination.I did not find them so reliable in comunication and booking. Infact I emailed them the details of the transport I needed and they never confirmed anything, so I needed to go to their office in Belgrade to book the trip(they claim to be able to book service by email). They told me that 10 minuts before the pick up the driver would call me and this never happened, I had to do several international calls to their offices from Timisoara before understanding that I would have been picked up 2 hours later than expected.The return ticket from Belgrade to Timisoara is 40 euros so, all in all a convenient rate, just do not expect them to be so punctual.

Private car company

From the Belgrade airport to the city centre I decided to book an airport pick up as I needed to be in the downtown at a certain time and did not want to mess up with abusive drivers usually present outside airports.
I used the auto transfert and it was expensive for Belgrade standard but the service was good, price was 20 € and it took more than one hour to arrive downtown, probably cause of the rush hour.

Fly

I flew to Belgrade from Rome with alitalia that now has some kind of good prices for this route: 200€ return tiket. If you want to use a low cost company you can fly with wizzair to Timisoara airport which is about 200 kilometers from Belgrade and from there use a private minibus company, Gea, that takes you to the city in 3 hours for 25€.
